Are you Ready for Fall?

My Top List for a Memorable Fall

I can’t believe it is almost September and summer is quickly coming to a close. I do love warm sunny days, but this past summer has been extremely hot, with heavy bouts of rain and sticky, humid weather.

I am ready for Fall!

Last evening I journaled my wish list of fun activities to share with friends and family.

Here is my list:

Apple Picking: One of my favorite fall activities.

Visit an orchard and enjoy the crisp air while picking apples. You can use them for baking, making cider, or simply enjoying as snacks.

Pumpkin Patch: This has been on my list since I was a child.Head to a pumpkin patch to pick out the perfect pumpkins for carving or decorating your home. If you have kids or you are a kid at heart, this always makes me smile.

Leaf Peeping: Take a scenic drive or hike to admire the changing colors of the leaves. This can be especially stunning in areas with lots of deciduous trees. My sister lives in Vermont, so a fall trip is always on my to do list, the foliage colors are breathtaking.

Hayrides and Corn Mazes: Enjoy a classic hayride through the countryside or challenge yourself to a corn maze with friends and family.

Fall Baking: Try your hand at baking autumn-inspired treats like pumpkin pie, apple crisp, or cinnamon rolls.
