An Interview with Dr. Paul Langevin — The New CEO of Olena Medical
I had the pleasure of interviewing Dr. Paul Langevin, the new CEO of Olena Medical, based in NJ and Texas. Olena is a physician-owned and operated anesthesia provider.
Dr. Langevin is a seasoned anesthesiologist, educator, and healthcare leader. Dr. Langevin brings decades of experience in clinical practice, academic medicine, and strategic leadership to the role.
Dr. Langevin’s medical career is impressive which includes degrees in Biology, Biochemistry, and Molecular Biology, followed by an MD from the University of Missouri-Columbia, where he graduated cum laude. He completed residencies in Internal Medicine and Anesthesiology at SUNY Stony Brook and pursued fellowships in cardiovascular anesthesia and critical care. He also holds an MBA, further underscoring his combined clinical and business acumen.
Over the years, Dr. Langevin has held leadership roles at several top academic institutions, including the University of Florida, Dartmouth, and Drexel University. His career has spanned directing cardiovascular anesthesiology, critical care and ECMO programs, receiving multiple teaching awards, and contributing to NIH-backed research.
